Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated

Robot voice claiming to be Amazon Prime and that our account was being auto-renewed for 79.99 unless we speak to the manager by pressing 1. We do not have an Amazon Prime account.
Pretends to be from Amazon. States subscription is due for renewal and if you don't want the £79 taken from your bank account press 1 to talk to a manager. This is a scam. Do not press 1 if you get this call.
They say they are from HMRC, and if I don’t press button number 1 we will arrest you, obviously a scam.
