This number has called me numerous times over the past 3 or so days, including twice within 10 minutes of each other this morning! If you really want or need to speak to me, then leave a message on my answer machine, simple!! - these people will never leave a message and I will NEVER answer their harrassment calls on a number that I don t recognise. I have now blocked this number from ringing me any more.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. Got a call just now purported to be from this number saying they were my Internet providers and that my computer has been hacked and my service will be disconnected for 24 hours. It then offered me to speak with their agent. I just put the phone down as I feel it is a scam.
Slightly Indian sounding Woman called "Len" claiming to be from BT and asking for an email address to send information to. When I ask for her email address so I could allow it through our spam filters, she repeated she wanted my email address. I repeated I wanted her email address... she hung up. Time-wasting idiots, We don t even have any BT lines.

SCAM - Pretending to be O2 (I'm not even with O2) and wanted to send me two text messages so they could give me a 30% discount on my bill. Clearly some sort of phishing attempt.
My daughter received a txt from this number saying she needed to click on the link to avoid her EE account being blocked. She is with EE but luckily didn't click on it. Looks like the Russians have got her number looking at where the country of origin is for the number - a bit worrying.

They claimed they were HMRC and the police were coming to get me for not paying tax ? 1) They didn't know my name 2) Whether it was HMRC / Tax Office / whoever really, they would send a letter (not an email) to you not phone you ! It's a nasty SCAM meant to panic you, these people should be locked up!
