SCAM Numerous calls from this number in the evening, as lage as 21:47, advising my father they could repay overpaid timeshare fees, unfortunately he gave out his card details, £4,500 taken from his account, changed his details and they rang again obviously for up to date info to start taking money again, this time he said I would call them back, they gave him a fake number to call back onSCAM

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
