These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Con artists! I am signed up to TIPS and if this was a legitimate company they would be following the code of practice set up. They do not follow the law. they use a recorded voice, therefore they are criminals. Another number for the call blocker.

2 weeks ago I answered and a lady with very little knowledge in englsih talked to me. She could not say the company name or anything. I told her to delete my cell phone number completely and said I wasn t interested at all in anything she could say. Despite this that number has called me in average 2-3 times a day... for 2 weeks.. As there is no company name to be told - I suspect they re nothing but hackers.. But can t say for sure.

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . This number 07901 823 560 rang on the 26/04/2023. It was a voice recorded message, stating, for some unknown reason, that I was immediately entitled too several hundred's of pound's. I hung up immediately, as I suspected it was a Scam phone call. Thank You for Your assistance in this matter.

Noticed a missed call from this number on an old mobile I d only recently put a brand new SIM into. This phone has never been used to make calls anywhere so either Tesco Mobile have started re-issuing old numbers or the calling company are chancers.
