This number called at about 2.30 today. Just got a female computer generated voice saying goodbye at the end of the call.
Called just after 5 asked for me by name sounded like a call centre. Said he was calling about benefits and could I answer some questions for him and then he would never bother me again I hung up
Asked for a person by name but wouldn't say where they were calling from. Claimed it was about a personal matter and kept evading the question when asked where they were calling from.
Not recognised when called back. Dubious!!

Caller identifies they are from Choice UK but always put the phone down when asked for their head office address. Calls are now twice to three times a day.

SCAM Saying they are calling from virgin media, about our slow Internet router. They will proceed to ask you to download a software on your pc and then steal any banking details and passwords. We end up having 10 of these calls a day, it's so frustrating. I end up laughing and saying some choice words or going along pretending I'm doing what they are asking. When I say I'm not with virgin media they switch and say they are an it department for all Internet providers. Do not fall for this!!!

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Amy from Amazon (with an Indian accent and obviously from a call centre) said that there had been purchases of gift cards from my Amazon account and was it me who had made them? I said I would not respond to a call centre phone call and hung up. Checked my Amazon account and there were no recent transactions, so obviously a scam.
