Called yesterday said they were calling about a car accident. They had my full name. WE DO NOT HAVE A CAR.

Indian lady saying hello is that (my name) - I just kept saying hello and eventually she put the phone down.

Number called me and asked me to confirm personal details, which they clearly had. Asked me random questions regarding whether I owned a dog, how much I earned etc, but when I told him I wasn t going to continue to answer his questions and put the phone down, he immediately called back. Phoned on several occasions and I still don t understand what the call is about. Very aggressive manner.

Called at 0930 by Microsoft who advised that I have a "computer problem" I asked for and given this number for verification. BEWARE this is a confidence trick - switch the call to BT Protect if you have it.

Another Marketing firm doing research . Terminated call before they tried to sell me anything. Now on blocked list.

A call from Carphone warehouse, using a LOCAL code - ie - 01324 trying to deceive you into thinking it s a local call. You answer, and it s OBVIOUSLY a CALL Centre (by all the noise in the background) and on questioning the guy, is clearly NOT in the Falkirk area. This type of local call is being used more and more.

I found a missed call from this number which must've rang me whilst I was online as I found the missed call from them when I was about to pass my phone to my fiancé.

I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. Caller claimed to be from Talktalk legal dept in London, despite being Birmingham number. Said they needed to connect me to their server to investigate illegal access from abroad. Tried to talk me through downloading Teamviewer and give him the ID and password! Rang off when I said I would report to police.
