Called me and said needed to review my life insurance. Knew my name and dob but when I asked which company, policy number, sum insured had no details and hung up. Sounded legitimate but clearly not

25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. I believe this is a scam text trying to get money, we are not expecting a parcel and even if we were, where would they get a mobile number from for someone who hasn't given Royal Mail their number?

This is a SCAM number: Female voice says HMRC are launching a lawsuit against you and to press one to talk to a case officer. HMRC do not use recorded calls from mobile numbers: they write. These scammers try to get you to pay them. Block it!

Multiple missed calls from this number going to the answer phone. There is never a message left which is why I have graded it as aggressive advertising. When answered, it was related to a magazine subscription based on out of date information.

Got a cold call from this number. The caller had a Welsh accent and said he was calling from the company Insure For Less. He wanted to discuss home insurance with me, but I said I wasn t interested and asked to be taken off their call list. What do you know, they called again the next day as though I would change my mind. Very annoying!
