Another silent caller - seem to be receiving a lot of these from 0203 dialling area over the last few days
SCAM / SPAM HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press one to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately.

SCAM Called said they were from O2 and were offering 50% discount on my bill. I thought I would go along with it (I'm not with O2) because the longer they are on the phone to me, they aren't scamming someone else. Sent me through to the supervisor who said they would send me two text messages, one to put my details in and another with the discount code. Call center I think. I asked who was calling and they put the phone down on me!
Automat Had a call from this number today. It was automated, and stated that a warrant has been issued for my arrest for tax evation. Had to laugh, as I don't pay tax as I am retired. For anyone who believes these calls, it can be very worrying.

These people are a pain
SCAM / SPAM - Automated recording claiming to be from HMRC who have a tax fraud case open. Asked to press 1 to be put through to the relevant tax officer. Clearly a scam - HMRC do not work like that.
