Got a call off this number saying they work for council repair team and they say av got alot of repairs to be done and to be honest I don't live a a council house it's private, he put phone done. Caller said name was PERRY HUTHES asked numerous personal questions managed to get my mum and dad's ages and details about house security before my mum managed to get the phone off Dad. suggested working with Warwickshire police - vague enough to not be an outright lie wanted to get someone into the house for a sales visit. hard sell rather than scammer I think, but still very annoying and careful probing for personal details set the alarm bells ringing.

They just called, I picked up the phone and a pre recorded voice said : goodbye. And they hung up
silent then hung up. Usually what happens is I get some silent calls before the influx of thick Indian accents asking about my phone in the proceeding days. aka fishing for operational phone numbers via an automated dialer.

Indian male called Alex purporting to be from BT telling me I had a problem with my internet and they were getting urgent error signals. I knew it was a hoax call, had them before, so asked him twice what the signals were and he put the phone down. I googled the number that came up, 01438 318251 and its for a homeless shelter in Stevenage. Indian scammers using business numbers for those that really need help! Sick b$%^A$%s!
