Just got a call from this number. They asked for me by name and then asked me to confirm my washing machine brand. When I said I was not sure they hung up. I am sure they just want to check if the number is real before they sell it on or bombard me with other unwanted calls. They obviously did not check on the preferences list which I have contacted to make sure that these calls do not happen. Waste of time.
Obtained my details inc address following a small car accident. Gave me some story about the other guy putting in a claim for whiplash and said I could also claim. I told them ( after a fair few discussions) that I simply had no claim to make whatsoever. When I was put through to a "Senior Claims Manager" I told him the same. This number called me today and asked for me by name. Line was quiet for 3 seconds after I said hello and the person spoke sounded like a male with a funny voice so probably used some equipment to diguise their real voice to sound posh. After they said my name I replied "Cor you sound really posh how you doing?" Then they hung up. Would have kept call going longer but I had things to do so couldn t continue.
