Called me several times, insisting I had opted in. I used their website contact form to complain and to my surprise got a reply offering to tell me where they got my details, BUT for a fee of 10.00! They also said my numbers had been removed but they ve just called my mobile... They are now blocked. TPS/OFCOM/ICO are useless so long as these people can claim you have opted in. There needs to be a mechanism for checking and revoking opt-ins. Or better still make the default on all websites opt-OUT,
It should be finally done something against such people. I keep receiving phone calls, in which immediately hung up. That s idiocy.
SCAM 07920 351494 automated voice saying internet section of my bank (but did not say which bank) and that they have stopped a £600 transfer to Western Union and for me to press 1 to speak to an adviser. I hung up believing this to be a scam call.

I've had a number of these unsolicited 01213 14NNNN where the last four digits vary. Now blocking them.
SCAM - Answered it to let a party popper off as they call every day numerous times a day but they didn't say anything and hung up before I could do anything. If you are the owner of this number, do your ear drums a favour, STOP CALLING YOU KNOB HEADS!!!!!!

I answered this call and the lady on the other end said she was calling from OVO Energy, as it appeared as a mobile number I didn t trust or believe her and ended the call!!!! I ve now blocked the number!!!!

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. Called at 0930 by Microsoft who advised that I have a "computer problem" I asked for and given this number for verification. BEWARE this is a confidence trick - switch the call to BT Protect if you have it.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. Calls 5-6 times a day and leaves voicemail claiming to be about an unresolved matter.

A call from Carphone warehouse, using a LOCAL code - ie - 01324 trying to deceive you into thinking it s a local call. You answer, and it s OBVIOUSLY a CALL Centre (by all the noise in the background) and on questioning the guy, is clearly NOT in the Falkirk area. This type of local call is being used more and more.

ALLAY CLAIMS - right lot of fraudulent bast**ds, scammers, thieves & extortionists. Look them up on www.trustpilot.com as well as lots of other websites. They forge signatures on documents and then try to extort money claiming the signed document is original. Best bet is put in complaints to all the toothless regulators and hope enough others do the same and maybe someone will take them off the financial systems. Maybe time for lighting the blue touchpaper.....!!!!!
