Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

It's a company called PDCS - they are a Debt Collection company

They are from an animal protection charity. I saw advert on tv( Channel 5 I think ) and txted to donate monthly £3. This was the reason they were calling me.

Unknown caller telephoning a TPS registered private number and failing to leave a message. Presumably an illicit sales call or a scammer.

I get a daily call despite being registered with TPS. I don t answer it. So pensions have replaced PI for an excuse for telemarketing "companies" to harrass you :-(

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years.
