I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. Not worried or frightened, just a bit miffed that they won t have a conversation with me. We re not really allowed to speak with other adults on my high security wing and by constantly calling me, there s a risk that my handset will be discovered. 07815986273. Called this morning (labelled International) on my landline 25 Feb 2021. Did not leave a message on the answerphone so it is most likely an unconscionable scammer.

It's a company called First Contact by Utilita. I was called on my mobile and they hung up. A return call revealed they were a call centre and I have now blocked the number.

Rang 3 times yesterday - background call centre noise then caller hangs up!

Suspect untrustworthy. Wanted to offer me a 3 month subscription to the magazine for ?1 an issue (cover price about ?3.50 or so). Asked for my sort code and bank account number. I was driving so said ring back - when she did, I couldn t take the call anyway.

Had a call from this number this morning. Man said his name was Mike. Yeah, right. Sounded very Peter Sellers. So whilst he s telling what to type, so he can access my computer, I went to Youtube and found The Halleluyah Chorus. He got it full blast!

He did NOT ask to confirm my name address, account etc. I asked him many questions as I new it was a scam. He asked me to go to my computer. This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. Voicemail left from what appears to be a computer generated source stating that she was an old aged pensioner and accusing me of stealing her phone. Not very nice as this was left on my daughters phone and we have had the contract for over 2 years.
