I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. Was called at 4.15pm on Sunday and a message was left that consisted of a full 5 minutes exactly of white noise.

Had a missed call on this number. I know most of the numbers I receive but didn't recognise this one....bet it was a ppi sales call.

just got 2 text messages after trying to use my card to pay for a transaction with a store declined for no reason. the 1st text said it was RBS and to expect a second text from this number asking to verify transactions just as others on here have said. Deleted it.

DO NOT answer the call. They don t need to have a conversation with you, just toknow the line is active. They find this out by you answering. They then sell your details and number on to other advertisers and brokers.
