Was phoned by someone saying that I'd won a free holiday and all I had to do was pick up the vouchers from opposite the Trafford Centre in Manchester, both me and my husband. I'm working, and my husband is looking after our young children so we don't have time for that, particularly in this day and age of electronic tickets, emails etc. Five minutes on the internet reveals that this company = CLC World - will offer a high pressure sales pitch for a long term time share. If they stay on the phone long enough, tell them you are another person answering the phone for you, it is not your phone and say you are deceased. I have found that helps stop it in a lot of cases. I was going to try it here but they put the phone down too quickly.

I keep getting these calls from mobile numbers which have the same first few digits as my own, I never answer them, but they must be dangerous.

Answered by my answer machine announcing all my calls are being monitored by the Devon and Cornwall Police because of the nature of the called and the number of calls we have had over the last 3 years we have had over 9758 calls and that is supposed to be to an ex-directory number my number is not in any phone books and when I tried to get help from Virgin Customer service I got fobbed off basically, very suspicious that all people making these calls are either Pakistani or Indian and, strangely, Virgin Cus
