SPAM - Unsolicited phone call. After saying "Hello" down the line a burst of computer noise/mumbled automated voice was heard before the call disconnected. Likely an automated call failing to register properly so most likely a scam call.

This number called my 90 year old mother posing as the fraud department from the Bank of Scotland. He said 2 lots of money had left her account and they were chasing this up. Thankfully she phoned the bank and it was confirmed that these transactions had not happened. It was a scam, I think to get her personal details, not any account numbers - perhaps identity theft. He phoned her again today apologising for not phoning back yesterday but my mum was very blunt with her replies and he hung up.
Recorded message to say credit card had tried to be used twice and to press one to approve. Checked with bank and no transactions had been tried. Therefore scam.

One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. Automated message sounds like it is from the bank, but did not state name of bank, or cardholder. Used another phone to call the number back (out of curiosity). Mobile network sates it is an invalid number, and call made from Ireland, with a London code?
A fraudster by the name of Tomas Lang is using this phone number using recovery room fraud tactics. The victim he contacted and trying to obtain money from was a victim of a fraud losing a significant amount of money.
