A call well away from the area I live, claiming to be dealing with energy supplies in my area, and problems with Government grants for loft insulation, but a problem has been found causing damp and mould in the loft insulation. An offer is made to check and replace the loft insulation, to then be charged for work that is simply not required.

This is a scam. Number repeatedly calls, leaving broken voicemail message, starting: "...county courthouse" and inviting you to call back. On returning the call the individual answering identified themselves as HMRC and proceeded to ask for personal details. When I said I wasn't prepared to give any personal details over the phone, they told me to "get lost" and hung up. Be wary out there folks!
Called me to say I had a bug on my computer that they had noticed, told him I was recording the call, had his name and number and was sending to the police, he swore and hung up !
Indian sounding male with very broken English. After the fourth time of asking I finally managed to decipher that he said he was calling from BT Openreach. When I said 'OK I understand now' there was a long pause as if he didn't know what to say next. I could hear someone in the background also saying 'This is BT Openreach'. When I asked him what he was calling about he just kept repeating 'This is BT Openreach'. I asked him if he had lost his script......and he rang off.

SCAM - Told me (in appalling English) he was from support and was ringing about my computer. I asked what company he was calling from and he didn't seem to know! I told him his attempt at scamming was utterly pathetic and to sod off.
Cold called asking for my boss by name and if we had ISO 9001. Wanted to know if we would consider paying them good money for a willy-waving number to be put on our letterhead.
Unknown caller ringing a TPS registered domestic number. No message left. Probably an illicit sales call, a scammer or fraudster, but with no message left stating their business, I don't know.
