This number was a representative from a Greenpeace call agency. I checked with Greenpeace to validate this call and they confirmed it. They were asking for a direct debit payment after acquiring my number from a petition I signed. The service was friendly and informative and not malicious unless you don't like charity pressure calling.

Clear scam. Do not answer. Claim to be VISA checking if a £600 online purchase is valid. Asks you to press 1 to talk to an adviser. Not sure what would happen if you pressed 1 but it would not be good. Same automated call received earlier in the day from a totally different number.

I got a call at work and a female welsh voice said `I understand you are under 60 years old and therefore you qualify for a pensions bonus payment of £1,000 which you will receive within the next 60 days. SCAM, I didn't let them continue far before hanging up on them, asking me about my interest in the stock market. Wouldn't believe that I hadn't registered with them, wouldn't give me their company name or details when I asked who had called me. Persisted even after I told them to remove my details.
SCAM: This is from the playbook of scam calls. They are voice activated. Once you start talking, your voice initiates the software to connect you to the automated scam voice, or the actual perpetrator. If you don't say anything, after about 10 seconds you'll hear the following automated message: "The other person has cleared".

This is a fake number; the call was from a scammer. ANY unexpected call about your computer, router, viruses, wifi, IP address, or internet being cut off, offering discounts...

This number rang me saying I had been in an accident last year and my number was on the accident database. The guy called Jason then said there was an unclaimed payment due to me from the otherside s insurance company. I ve had no accident and no one owes me any money. I hate these calls!!!
