I missed a call from these people yesterday whilst at work, who are they and are they just scam?

got a missed call from this number and called it back. an American voice told me my call was very important but no one answered. I will not be calling back!!

Calling about an a non-existent accident in which I was supposedly innocent. Spammy claims company using a robot telemarketer.

I didn t answer but the caller I.D showed up as "Little Dick ". Kinda wish I d answered it now.......

Caller is Black Pearl Claims who deal with PPI. They use several different telephone numbers to call from.

Nobody there - just rings and there s nothing. Block it!

They called I answered, they hung up and when I attempted to call back the phone went dead. Several attempts were made to return there call as I am very security aware. However as no msg or call was made to my house I assume its a PPI or cold calling scam. I will retract any commets if I find they are untrue for now my view is dont bother to answer.

This number has called my mobile at around midday twice in the last week. Answered the first time but no-one there. Ignored the second ring today. Having found these other comments I shall not be answering in future either. Thanks

Calls repeatedly, no speech then hangs up after a few seconds. Looks like a local number, but starts with a 4 not a 6, so very suspicious.

This number calls me every day, and when I pick it up, nobody is there, nobody speaks. Possible scam

Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.
