This number keeps calling me - mobile and landline - Just left message to say AXA Health Care Insurance to run through on-line quote I received a few weeks ago.

Had a miss call from this company i rang the number and i got an answer service saying they where calling about a possible PPI claim, I think they are called Crookshak and Green.

rang me on my mobile told me my name, stated he was from an unaudiable ins company. Told me my address AND car registration No. Said I ahd been in an accident and was earmarked £1000. I told him I had not been in accident, asked who he was and his company, he hung up.

DO NOT answer the call. They don t need to have a conversation with you, just toknow the line is active. They find this out by you answering. They then sell your details and number on to other advertisers and brokers.

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. Said she was from Autodesk or AutoCAD and was looking to speak to accounts as license was due to expire. As we don't use Autocad i got suspicious, then she asked if she was speaking to a certain company, of which i didn't know. This may have been a genuine call where they phoned the wrong company or could have been a scam to try and get a payment. As Autodesk now use 3rd party account managers then you would normally know the person calling you and they would be using the correct names.

I have received several calls from 01614867218 asking for details of my accident, I have not had an accident so I blocked the number. I have now had calls from 01614867210 again asking about my "accident", the caller asked for me by name but did not identify himself he also dodged the issue when I asked how he got my number. I then blocked this number as well.

Caller claimed to be from a government department in reference to an accident 18 months ago, and persisted even when I said our number was registered with the TPS. Fairly threatening, saying that if I didn t cooperate my son might be in trouble because his file would remain open .

Getting 4-5 calls weekly. I don t answer from numbers I don t know & as they didn t leave a message I presume they re spammers.
