Calling about a change to a hospital appointment. It s a legit number.
Called asking about current energy supplier and whether or not I was happy with them. Caller was happy and chatty until I asked for my number to be removed from their lists. Have called 4 times in the last 2 days.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. 07949504925, this sent a text message purporting to be from Hermes, stating they ahd been unable to deliver and I needed to click on a link to arrange redelivery. I have nothing on order and I know that the courier leaves a card if youre not in. I think this is a SCAM!!!!!!!

interesting - it was my own number which I don t of course ring - some clever spoofer I guess but a bit unnerving. I did not ring myself - I was busy watching the snooker!
Dodgy outfit asking me about the "accident I had recently" then passed me to unintelligible guy with Indian accent asking me to reveal details of car accidents in last 3 years. Not had any nor did I ask them to call. I have registered with the Telephone Preference Service.
Purporting to be Inland Revenue; obviously not. A recorded message - robotic female voice - asking to phone Dennis something and not to ignore call. Indian accented chap answered with 'Inland Revenue' or similar, clearly bogus. Unsettling.

We got a call from this number at 2.20am which woke us up with a fright. Recorded message saying ‘Can you hear me?’ And no response when sleepily replied. Really annoying - couldn’t get back to sleep afterwards for hours. No idea what the purpose of it was.
