Asked for a name that was not mine. Then said my number had asked for details of doing the lottery. Told them i hadn't and hung up.
Message read that I’d my parcel could be delivered, to re organise a date and pay £2.10, asking me to put all bank details in. Said they were DPD.
Had a call today from this number.... Just missed the call so rang back. Answerphone said all advisors are busy etc etc, but no company name given.

My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! They called me 2 times and they offered me a new deal about electricity and gas..I don t like make a new deal by phone and I wasn t sure about them, maybe they aren t serious..
Person who called me from this number says his is from National death insurance policy.
After a bit of sleuthing I ve found out that this number belongs to Verso Group, a telemarketing company. You can request to have your number removed from their database via [email?protected] or by calling their customer complaints team on 01582 763 090.
"We understand you ve been in a car accident that was not your fault." I m assuming its just a scam call then.
