This number has called at least 3 times today without leaving a message. I did a bit of digging and discovered a website that offers virtual phone numbers with the area code 028...
This is a scam number pretending to be from Amazon saying that my Prime membership was corrupted. I have now barred the caller.

Phone rang, I picked it up, voice garbled something as these people always do to introduce themselves. Of course I could not make out one word of it. I said "Mumble that again in English." he said, "pardon, So I said very slowly and deliberately as if talking to a two year old "Mumble that again in English." He then put the phone down. Another deadbeat con artist who this time did not like my attitude or the fact that I was not about to play his game. Another one for the call blocker

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!

Claims to be an 'energy company' calling because I'd done home improvements (complete rubbish - not specific - didn't wait to hear anything else - nuisance call.
Too long a pause to wait for an answer. After I received this call my virus protector warned me that my computer was connected to an unsafe wi-fi link. It definitely had been OK before. I don t know if there was any connection between these things but I would check your wi-fi after receiving it to be on the safe side

The caller gave this number saying they were from Google about my entry on google maps and that they were going to help me fix the problem I had to get customers to find me. There s nothing wrong with my entry. So I played along and when asked for my name said it was George Bush. Apparently I should get a call back later today as I said I was too busy. Beware, this is just usual scam.

Caller had rough Mancunian accent. He told me I had been hurt in a car accident & could claim compensation for me.
recorded message claimed my internet will be disconnected in 24-48 hours due to unauthorised activities. Press one to speak to advisor. they Jam my phone line, so when I put phone down and try to block the last number. they ring thru to an advisor claiming to be Peter from Openreach. I put the phone down again, and they still on the call when I retry within 10sec.

Very mumbled message saying from Western Union saying that a large sum , either £400 or £4000 had been taken from my visa account, and to go on to speak to someone by pressing a single digit number, Did not do this a seems odd, and probably a scam. Annoying but probably dangerous.

Possible scammer, woman with very strong Indian accent claimed she was calling from Sky to check my internet connection. She was very convincing and tried to get me to type in a code on my PC and that was when I knew it was a scam so I hung up. Be on your guard!
left message on mobile claiming to be amazon checking on large purchase made from account wanting me to contact with authorisation code- called them back several times - from diff telephone no, and from withheld no, they kept hanging up on me when they realised I hadnt been taken in by their scam.. so i kept on calling them back - just to annoy them.. got to the point they hung up. knew was scam as same person answered the phone every time, anyone whos phone amazon , knows you NEVER get the same person :D
