IT’S EASY TO STOP THESE CALLS!!! Simply answer the call and pretend to be interested in what they are offering. You will probably be passed to a "manager" who will arrange for someone to visit you. Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back

My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. I have been receiving daily calls from this number for about 2 weeks and every time I pick up the receiver the call terminates.

Weird call about investments, asking for an name I don t recognise. Advised them they must have the wrong number. Caller asked if this was a business line, when told no, ended the call.
