SCAM I don't know anyone from that part of the UK. I hadn't picked up the phone. Probably a call from strangers hoping that I'll return the call, which will have a huge fee, that goes directly to their bank account.

Missed a call from this No. and called it back, told me that my life insurance policy was out of date or words to that effect, told him he was talking a lot of s**t and blocked this number, yet another SCAM !!!!!!

I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. And told me that he calling to ask if my home had any damaged from the recent bad weather we have had. When I then asked him on how he got my personal number. He then told me that he got it from my local council. At this point I told him that I did not need his services. The phone line was poor in sound, therefore

I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. Scam call, claiming to be from Amazon Prime. He said to confirm my identity he would send me a text, please read the code out to me. The code that came through was to reset my password. I hung up on him.
