I was told to press 1 to talk to someone - probably at great cost! Obvious scam. Number and call have been reported to the ICO

He is a scammer. You pay a ‘deposit’ then he hits you with the ‘delivery fee’. Your not getting nothing. He aint even in your local area.
Endless calls at all times or the day from these scammers despite being registered with TPS. Time these companies were put out of business and the bosses jailed for a long stretch for the distress they cause.

1st had a text sent to my land-line late last night, saying thank-you for going with Action direct PPI, I ignored it thinking it was a wrong number & I d not had any contact with this company. Now - - it s only 12:05hrs & I ve had 3 calls with no one @ the other end,damned if I m wasting my time waiting for an operator.

Told them that if they were genuine, they were misinformed, but that I suspected they were cold callers trying to scam me. When asked to give evidence of their identity, or details of when and where this collision supposedly took place, they hung up.

Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.
