Called saying from 02 on a very bad line offering loyalty discount. Said I wasn’t interested so he hung up and then got a security text from o2 with a one time code on it saying if someone has called me, they don’t work for o2 and to hang up the phone

'Lady' called to say she was from VISA & my card subject to misuse with total £1400 being taken (?) & to "Press 1" to speak to someone there to prevent funds being taken. Seems like a scam, so I rang the number direct & got through to someone who just slammed phone down. Fishy !!

Fraud - Indian call centre claiming to be from O2 but hiding behind a UK number as you are more likely to answer it. Offered savings off my bill and free upgrade wanted my details to check and the one time pass code that O2 were going to send me. Its a massive fraud once they have your account info they will go on a spending spree using your details but changing the delivery address. Just hang up or do not answer.

01268395512 - Definitely a spam call. They asked my name 3 times which i did not confirm, 3 times i asked who they were, they gave a garbled response and when i asked the nature of the call they hung up.
Received a call but then it gets cut off, its from 02038597401 the man explains its from Passport Office. Not sure tried to call it back and its saying they are but I did call the acutal British Passport office and they have told me that this number is FRAUD! so do not give any information of yours! to 02038597401 this is a fraudulent number. Claiming to be EE feedback call for my mobile. Epic fail on so many levels not least their shitty VOIP. OFCOM need to shut down the routes used by fraudsters not leave it to sites such as this to highlight their scams.
SCAM Upon connection there was an electronic tone like you used to get with Skype. Man with thick accent tried to interest me in a motor accident I recently had and had “forgotten about”. When I said no I hadn’t had one I was immediately disconnected. This is not Aberdeen, it sounds more like India.

SCAM Phoned a few minutes ago and I stupidly answered despite not recognising the number. A foreign sounding woman asked if she was speaking to ...my name.. but when I asked who was calling she put the phone down. Suggests a scam.
Had three uninvited calls from this unknown caller. I don't respond to such calls. If they are genuine they can leave me a voicemail (but they don't, of course!) and I can call back if I choose. Suspect it's a scam call so have blocked the number!
