Scam again. Don t answer these calls!

They called saying they were doning government survey etc , I told them I didn t want to know and also said we were registered with TPS. I eventually put phone down on them.

An aggressive and persistent man called Solomon cold called and said he had information that we were paying too much for our phone and got quite angry and indignant when I said I was reluctant to swap from BT to National Business. I hung up and wish I hadn t bothered to listen in the first place.

PPI nuggetts pestering even when you ask them to delete you from their system they still continue to call - just block them off your call list - only option!

Asked if I wanted to sell my business !!

This number called me twice in two hrs saying they was from talk talk and there was a fault on my computer is this another scam

I have just had a call from a lady from 01704 222222 claiming to work for Albany Assist and wanting to talk to me about the non fault accident I have had in the last two and a half years. I told her I hadn’t had one and the call ended. Reported to the real Albany Assist as per the request in this thread. Interesting that if you call the number back no one answers. Caller was a scouse female.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. Fraud fraud fraud. Do not call back on this number or give any details. My elderly parents received a call this morning. Lucky I was around and he claimed he was calling from virgin media in London. I then asked if he knew English and he said no. From here I released something ain t right. I immediately googled the number he gave and read the previous comment. If u are called do not take this seriously.

Colin, it's more than a nuisance. It is actually illegal to make a silent call. This should be reported to Ofcom.

Not a nuisance caller - legit company you have to have signed up for to get calls from

this person called used the name of the person who answered ( my dad ) and when he questioned who he was the caller slammed the phone down.. re trace gave the number of 01271 42169 but when we rang it back it says it doesnt exist. Please can someone check on this person and stop this happening again

Call received as early as 8.33 am. Didn't answer as didn't recognise and don't welcome calls so early
