SCAM I leave my answerphone on permanently for call screening. This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. Not sure what to label this - the call came on my work phone, no introduction, just an automated voice saying I would lose my national insurance number in court if I don't press '1' then it went silent, so I assume they wanted me to press the number and give them my bank deets

Received several calls from this number over the last week, including two within ten minutes of each other. This is harrassment. They think that if they bother you for long enough you will give up and answer their calls. I NEVER answer calls from numbers that I don t recognise.
SCAM. Another call from what seems to be a call centre in Manchester. Soon as you answer the call is cut off. Probably to see if line is still active. In the last month I have had 20 calls from the same area but different numbers. I've logged this as a scam because if itwas genuine the caller would have answered or left a message. I do not know this #.
