I received an email from this same guy called Tony yesterday afternoon. I suspected the email straightaway. I called the number, went to a recorded advert, I quickly cut the call off after 1min 22secs. It is a scam!!!! Please beware of this guy and/or related tricks.

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? Called number back and it went to an answer phone. It states that they are a marketing company. Wouldn t bother answering they will just waste your time.

Indian voice, Irish name, called our landline. claimed to be from Virgin media technical dept, and that they supply my broadband.
nHe didn t ask my name but had our address...

I would like to know who this number is. They rang my mobile but I didn't answer as I feel it's a nuisance call.

9 calls today ! all silent calls and when rang back 1st time just kept ringing

Started leaving text s on my mobile saying they need to contact me about a personal business matter, then an hour on the dot later 2 phone calls from this number 10 mins apart. They then make a further 2 calls at about 6pm EVERYDAY for the last 2 weeks. I don t owe any debt to anyone so they can go root themselves scumbags. They don t even use my name in the texts and no letter has arrived but they seem to be putting a lot of man hours in to getting hold of me. Well they ll be trying for a long damn time I

Stating they are the credit investigation department, a UK government department. When questioned further, the caller revealed they were an independent company doing promotional calls.
