Called 12:20 20-dec-2018. Apparently looking to review my life insurance on behalf of Legal & General. When I pointed out that I hadn t had life insurance with them for over 20 years she said it must be my wife then! I hung up on her at that point.
This has just happened to me £20.50 and £21.25 taken. bank has blocked them and Fraud investigation pending.

just got 2 text messages after trying to use my card to pay for a transaction with a store declined for no reason. the 1st text said it was RBS and to expect a second text from this number asking to verify transactions just as others on here have said. Deleted it.
SCAM Called said they were from O2 and were offering 50% discount on my bill. Definitely a criminal enterprise. Rang me telling me I should claim the money set aside for me after a crash that they somehow knew I had been in. Very cleverly the got personal details from me including my address, date of birth and national insurance number. They pretend to put you through to a solicitor whilst keeping you on hold for a while... Very well thought out criminal enterprise.. After a couple of days they confirm that you can have the money.. And arrange for a "special courier" for legal docume
