Had a call from this number purporting to be an energy supplier. Hung up and then Googled the number and saw this site, as well as the site below on the search results from a news article stating to get a refund on a cancelled cruise to contact ABTA on this number. Something obviously isn't right with it, so blocked it and advise anyone else to do the same.
Called me for the past two days, answered no response of other end then hangs up

Got called at 2.20am then at 2.30 early hours Sunday morning.
Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules. Full complaint made to the TPS regarding this call and company. I suggest you do the same. The sooner they are fined the

Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. SCAM I don't pick up on unknown numbers so they can leave a voicemail if they are legitimate No voicemail left, after ten minutes I called the number back and this was the message : "This is an incorrect number please check and redial" So my advice, never pick up, wait for them to leave voicemail, google number and then call back if needed HTH
Why though
SCAM Derek in a foreign voice from 'Virgin Media' calling about our slow internet connection over WiFi. We have 6 devices connected to it. He wanted me to use my mobile to download an app on play store called Quicksupport and he had a code ready to put in once downloaded. I did not do it and ended the call.
