These people have called me several times in the past few days and I picked up was saying hello for a couple of minutes before they asked for me by my surname (how they got this I want to know) and then proceeded to tell me they were wanting to ask me a survey on my home insurance. when I told them I do not own a home I live with my mum (im 23 years old) and therefor do not have home insurance the guy was like oh oh ok. Had a call from this number telling me they were from Microsoft and there was a problem with our computer. Could we log on etc. Told them to phone back later - They haven t. No idea if it is genuine!
Usual call asking if I had been in an accident. Ironically, I work for the Citizens Advice and this month we have been campaigning to make people Scam Aware. Number has been noted and complaint will be made.

Had a call from 07894865338 from someone asking for me by name and claiming to be from the Citizens Advice. I thought he was saying he had been contacted because I had reported a dead person, I asked him to repeat it, which he did. His accent was very thick and from seeing this site I think he was trying to say I had reported a debt problem !!! He hung anyway...

2 weeks ago I answered and a lady with very little knowledge in englsih talked to me. She could not say the company name or anything. I told her to delete my cell phone number completely and said I wasn t interested at all in anything she could say. Despite this that number has called me in average 2-3 times a day... for 2 weeks.. As there is no company name to be told - I suspect they re nothing but hackers.. But can t say for sure.
