Almost certainly a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Block the number if you have the facility.

Been called a couple of times from this number claiming I have money owed to me from a third party in my last crash. There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details). I was called on my mobile by someone trying to tell me that my sister (I have power of attorney) owed 53.23 to BT but if I paid the full amount by card, then she would have her line restricted and avoid further charges of 18.00 for re-connection. They were really pushy that I make a payment but I thought something was off and wouldn t give any details at all!

Alleged not a sales call and only wanted 60 seconds of my time. Had the same call the previous day wanting to know if I was house owner, age etc. When challenged they hang up.

SCAM VERY DANGEROUS - Electronic voice claimed I'd been committing tax fraud, presumably as a means to try and extract information. Despite the London number it then connected to a callcentre in what sounded like India. They clearly had no details on me whatsoever. When I asked them who the hell they were and what their game was they quickly hung up.
