This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

an asian who spoke so fast that to start with it was impossible to understand and when asked to repeat it but slowly she said she was phoning to alert me that i had to pay another charge on my order. she said if i could give her my bank details amazon will debit it from my account. i have not brought any thing from amazon and i dont have an account with amazon never have and never will . beware of this number because these people are thieves and are not from amazon.

Silent call Missed call SPAM I was called by this number around 30minutes after a different +44, it is not actually the local number calling, potentially a spam/scam as usually once the number is searched online. A legit company is linked to the full number I.e (0)122 etc but it's displaying at +44. This number sent a text message, not a phone call, to ‘inform’ me I’d been in close contact with someone with Covid, and that I needed a PCR test. Interesting as I’ve been self isolating prior to a hospital admission.
Not sure what this was about. I answered and it went silent then someone said hello, knew my email address. Something about a transfer payment being stuck and verifying my data in regards to ID fraud. I had an echo on the line, couldn't hear properly. Caller had strong accent, possibly French. Asked them to call back in 20 mins by which time I would be home and hopefully no echo. They didn't call back. Potentially a scam call in itself? Call center
