The clue is in the number. Apart from inner city London, when last I looked, all UK numbers begin with 01. Clive, Peter, Brian Stephen etc are NOT popular names in India as these people would have you believe. The bottom line is a simple one, if you don’t recognise the number, don’t answer. He stated that it does not matter as ‘they’ can still access. Stated that I would contact Microsoft directly, he gave me another number, I was rumbled when I said I would call back and he asked for me to repeat the number, I’d not written it down! Microsoft do not engage in unsolicited cold calls, and likely not using mobile number
