They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Advice to anyone receiving sh*t like this: If you're really concerned it might be genuine, just phone your bank using the number on the back of your debit card. Then! Think this is a scam. Caller was from London but stating he was the local Safety Officer and we are in the Midlands. Did ask for person by name who was not available. Said he would send an email. Not convinced this is genuine.

Someone called my mobile from this number 02087258118, using an automated voice, saying they were going to suspend my National Insurance number because of unusual activity!! Very threatening and loud voice saying I had to ring back this number immediately. To me that sounds like a scam because anything serious and legal they would have phoned and spoken to me and sent an email. Its twice now that my mobile number has been contacted by scammers and its getting really annoying.
