It is very interesting that several of your comments relating to this number, I have just received in the past week, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day; such as the comment about it being a Californian compromise on the internet, but also supposedly BT IT Desk! I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.
