Called from “the financial institution” wouldn’t clarify who that was or where they got my data, she got very angry when I questioned her and accused me of “playing around” and “being very rude” and then hung up on me.

Noticed a missed call from this number on an old mobile I d only recently put a brand new SIM into. This phone has never been used to make calls anywhere so either Tesco Mobile have started re-issuing old numbers or the calling company are chancers.

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . They are an Indian call centre who use spoof caller ID numbers. Do not trust them! Block them with a call blocker (you may need to block VOIP calls)or answer the call something like this: "This is the FBI - we have you surrounded! Come out with your hands up! All units - GO! GO! GO!" That should make them hang up!

Automated debt relief call - I hung up too soon to find out the name of the company. I ve no patience for this rubbish. I, too, am TPS registered - and my details are not listed on the version of the electoral register available for purchase, either. I suppose this shows how much good either does in preventing junk calls. I keep my landline unplugged when not in use as I receive so many PPI calls on that!
SCAMi had a number of calls and messages recently from this number 2 automated calls stating there going to go to a county court and 2 voice calls where a gentleman said he was from hmrc but couldn't speak very well English and started asking for my details to be able to tell me Any further info I said that this was not the hmrc number and he hung up I have now blocked this number
