Claimed to be from BT hacking dept. Said my connection was being used by a hacker and they would have to close down my line unless I let them install anti hacking software. During the process £1800 was stolen from my credit card and my laptop is unusable. BT says 01623744013 isn't a phone number.

Received a call today from 01942538691 which is actually a legitimate number from Brook Farm Cattery in Wigan.
