I recieved a call and as the gentleman above it appeared to be a prank call and ater a few seconds the call was ended by the "caller". Unknown caller as yet.

Usual nonsense about an accident, surely no one believes this garbage anymore.

01844 398 609. Persistently calling my mobile. I never answer if I don t recognise the number. So grateful for this site. Will block them now.

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. Not worried or frightened, just a bit miffed that they won t have a conversation with me. We re not really allowed to speak with other adults on my high security wing and by constantly calling me, there s a risk that my handset will be discovered.
