They will claim to be calling from O2 (if you tell them you're not with O2, they'll change the story and say they're calling from your network provider/carphone warehouse/some other lie). They will try to solicit personal information and bank details from you. Hang up and block the number!
People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call

Received a call from 01784279719 on 24/08/2017. Asian sounding male asked to talk about my "Windows" PC. So for fun I asked which one? I m an old nerd and have all between Win 3.1 and Win 10, but I did not tell him that! He says "the one running the Windows operating system". It s obvious he is fishing for info! Telephone Preference Management have rung me twice today using 01863 300016 - very bad line (that's normally a Scottish Highlands code, but obviously Indian call centre). Asked if I was still getting unwanted calls, and said their system showed that my Debit Card expired in 2018. I said he was wrong, and he hung up.
Unintelligible call from an alleged technical support line, sounded Asian! Hung up when they were told we could not understand.
I missed the call so rang back, a lady answered within one second and said ‘my colleague was calling regarding the car accident you’ve had recently’ I said I haven’t had a car accident and they just said ‘ok’ and hung up. My number is registered with TPS but because they didn’t say the name I can’t report them.

Been involved in a car accident?
Received a missed call from 01277 557 626 - phoned back as number from Brentwood where I live. No ringing, goes straight to a strange robotic voice saying "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line while we transfer you to the next available agent" Then silence, no holding music. Hung up straight away as appears to be a bogus call - no company greeting and I doubt they ever transfer you to anyone. Just racking up your call time to get money.
