26 Feb 2021 - Just received a call from this number a moment ago, asking for someone called Summer. My name isn’t Summer nor if my name pronounced anywhere near it. Reply
Caller sounded like an Indian call centre fishing for information or trying to sell something, said he had record of us being in an accident (which we have not), would not trust these people.
Some bloke with a strange accent phoned asking to speak to the person dealing with gas and electricity. He gave a name but it was very indistinct and what he said after was indeciferable. I asked him to speak in English, he said he was speaking in Englis
They rang me in regards to my SIPP with Avalon. I lost out on alot of money when Charles Derby (IFA) moved me over to a personal pension without explaining the risks. This company, think it's called claiming for you or something, are going to put in a claim on my behalf as i have no time to do it myself & are not charging me a fee. They will take a percentage of any money they win back for me.

Went dead as soon as I answered but this sounds like the same thing as reported on the media with Indian (or Indian subcontinent) scammers pretending to be from spoofing the number of an innocent guy in Wigan who has nothing to do with it.

An Asian sounding woman claimed she was from BT and was she speaking to the person who pays the bills etc. I said no, but my husband would be home at 6.30pm so call back. The woman immediately said that it was important information she had that our computer has been hacked and this could be dangerous. I said no thanks and put the phone down. Considering I don't have a computer I can only assume this was a dangerous scam for others to watch out for.

I received another call from this number today. The caller introduced himself as "Drew from the Energy Care Department of the Green Energy Company". He also said he was working on behalf of some governement initiative. When I asked him how he got the number, he was evasive at first but once he realised that I wasn t going to cave, he just hung up.
