Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.
took a call from a foreign sounding woman claiming to be from open reach telling me they had detected my internet speed was faulty. It was a local number but she handed me on to a foreign guy who, when I asked where he was based, said London. When I told him I thought he was a scammer he hung up!

When i laughed and called him out on it he became very irate accusing me of wasting his time and belittling his profession even though I was asking him to repeat what he said. It sounded like he had a few layers of fake proof set up online though. It might've fooled me if i hadn't googled it beforehand.
