call from someone with a very strong accent saying they were from Sky about our Broadband speed

Ppi, just for a change!!

I blocked this number after reading on a number of sites that they are a market research company. Don t believe their story that they do not have to comply with data screening /TPS lists etc. I do not think that their excuse we are not a marketing/sales company should excuse these people from TPS lists and private numbers They are unsolicited / cold callers. Number rang my mobile, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I'm guessing it's PPI or some other cold calling number.

Had a missed call alert from this number as above. Answerphone also said AM Legal so sounds like a cold call. If you have option to block I would recommend doing so!

Asked for me just by first name, claimed to be citizens advice new legal team and asked about unsecured debts. Told them I would not disclose any information to them so they hung up.

Call Centre. Foreign accent. Said it was BPC.

Scam loan company. Said i had been approved by them for a £5000 loan. All i had to do was pay the first £105 upfront and the funds would be transferred immediatly. The only was they said they could take the payment was from a ukash voucher. Straight away sent alarm bella ringing. I would advise anyone to ignore this number.

Called and hung up as soon as l answered. Have now blocked these brain dead morons who are on the other end.

Or maybe they just work in the UK? I too didn t get far in the conversation before this actually nice lady hung up. I was also just curious about how they got my number. Easy answer really but hanging up to me was a sign that perhaps they aren t so legitimate. Oh well.

This is a SCAM number: Female voice says HMRC are launching a lawsuit against you and to press one to talk to a case officer. HMRC do not use recorded calls from mobile numbers: they write. These scammers try to get you to pay them. Block it!
