Tell them you want to buy something, put the phone on a table and get on with your day, washing dishes, reading the paper, listening to the radio, say something every now and again to keep them there, waste their time, waste their money, keep em hangin on. comes up as international number on caller id, calls our landline repeatedly, clearly a scam

keep calling to say about Microsoft. I ask which Officer they wish to speak to. which leads me to tell them they have called a police station and their call is possibly being recorded. They soon hang up.

NEVER call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed number which could be a very expensive call.

3 calls last week. What I found out is. This number can be from a company which install remote software on your computer and will trigger a crash and ring you at the same time to fix it. Pests!

Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.
