DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER Fraud call. Pretending to be BT with a fault in the internet. I happen to have a fault so nearly fell for it, tried to get me to download a programme which would have infected my computer and obtained bank details. Have informed BT the callers were rude and offensive when I questioned their activity.
Called with recorded message saying there is a tax fraud listed in my name, and that I must press '1' to continue. I rang off.

This crap company has called about 4 times in past couple of weeks. Each time I requested that they remove my number from their database as I think they re dispicable, low life, preying on the vulnerable. A friend who had a car accident was totally taken in by a similar company, as they called the day after her accident, so she thought they were from her insurance company. This number has rung my mobile twice in two days. I have not answered but after reading comments on this and other websites, I contacted O2 directly. They confirmed that it IS them and it IS telemarketing, and offered to block my number, which I accepted. He said he had passed my details to telemarketing to stop contacting me but it could take up to 28 working days for the calls to stop. So I will have to wait and see. I hope this helps.

Melissa called twice saying that they needed to check the insulation in our loft because we had it done under the government scheme (we didn't) and now the regs had changed and it needs to be checked.When I told her that I'd done it myself about 35 years ago and wasn't going to have anything else done, she said she'd alter the information on the database. Sounded like a genuine company though unfortunately I didn't get their name so can't report them for a cold call as I would usually.
