Phoned at 11:30. No message. What's the point?

How do we stop this unjustified, annoying, harrasing type of call? They should be punished punitively and the money paid to those who receive their nuisance calls.

This number has been called numerous times on my Autistic grandson,s mobile phone and I'm very concerned about who this is

Asked for Mrs XXX, based on name in phonebook. Mrs XXX doesn t exist as I, Mr XXX s wife, have never used his surname and we ve used this number for 18 years. Claimed to be from a local building firm calling about our roof. We live in a block of flats. When I challenged caller about our number being registered with TPS he got angry and eventually hung up.

I am getting regular calls from this number and usually when I m at work and unable to answer. No message is ever left. One of my colleagues tells me it s marketing and connected with home broadband. It s becoming a nuisance now.

Seven calls in one day! Couldn t answer even if I wanted to due to being at work, but seven calls is a bit excessive!

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . Has called several times but I have a speaking phone which tells me the name if it s someone I know, and if unknown, it tells me the location or number of the caller. I did not recognise the number so each time, I ignored it.

i waited until out of office hours and called 0114 700 0889. it directed to the Voicemail of Amelia Hernandes. i believe these guys are professional scammers.
