Moron just hangs up when i answer

Getting a whole spree of unsolicited calls on my business cell phone. Clearly this is another one wantonly interrupting my working day. I am investigating an APP that automatically puts all known numbers to the blocked caller list.

I recieved a call from 01613934105. I answered and heard background noise such as a TV (loud and echo effect) I said hello and the call was disconnected. I didnt ring back.

I had a call from this number, but went right to the answering machine. I won ? 2500. It could be heard in the background many different voices.

GDPR has no relevance to these calls which use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER TRY TO RETURN A CALL to an unknown number and NEVER PRESS ...

I received many calls last week from this number and I ve never answered because I was working. I checked online the number and I discovered that it was telemarketing from Scottish Power.

THIS NUMBER IS NOT HALIFAX OR THE LLOYDS BANKING GROUP. I PHONED THEM TO CONFIRM. I DON T KNOW WHO IT IS OR WHAT THEY WANT. I WOULDN T PHONE THEM BACK JUST IN CASE. Just had a call from this number on my mobile. There was a lady there with an accent I didn t recognise. She gave no name, and said she was from Halifax regarding my personal account. I used to have an account with Halifax, but I shut it down about a year ago, but I do still have a joint account with my husband, that isn t used. She asked for

I suspect it s a fishing exercise to gather info we may seem to think is harmless but gives clues to passwords bank details and so on the first question was who do I bank with and do I bank online I am deeply suspicious of anyone asking about any of my financial details unsolicited as banks don t call asking my details so no-one else should either

How can I be owed money from some form of over payment I only take out interest free loans
