Got a fake text message pretending to be from Halifax saying a payment was attempted and if it was not me to click on theink theyd sent. I dont bank with Halifax. Do not respond to this message and block, its a scam trying yo take your info and money!
Has phoned me 3 times in last week. Asian male asks for me by name then when asked who they are and what do they want they hang up. Call from man (no gentleman) with Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I jokingly replied that I was from Microsoft fraud department he ranted down the phone at me for 15 minutes in abusive language before he eventually hung up. I have had scam calls before but this one was downright offensive.
